Blacks remain a solid, dark black colour.

 

Some blacks carry a recessive gene which prematurely grays the hair and they are called Silver.

 

All dogs with at least one B and at least one E will be Black:

are black dogs (with black pigment):

 

• BBEe is black carrying recessive cream

• BBEE is a black dog

• BbEe is black carrying recessive cream and recessive brown

• BbEE is black carrying recessive brown
